Uphold Labs (“we”, “us” or “our”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement describes how we collect, use, and share your Personal Data that we receive or collect from you in the course of, or in connection with, UpHODL. The UpHODL app is designed to enable users to self-custody digital assets and independently access decentralized protocols and exchanges. 

The Uphold Group is made up of different legal entities, including Uphold Labs, Uphold HQ Inc., Uphold Europe, Ltd., Uphold, LDA, Uphold Worldwide Ltd., Uphold International Equities, Inc., and other affiliates. This privacy statement is issued on behalf of Uphold Labs.

How Do We Collect Your Data

We do not collect any personal data of users of the UpHODL app. 

Deleting access or change information

Modifying or deleting personal information can be done within the UpHODL app. You are able to delete your UpHODL wallet at any time. Please note that Uphold Labs will never access, store or have knowledge of your Private Key. If you intend to delete your wallet, please ensure you have backed up your Private Key otherwise you risk being unable to access your funds. 

Third Party Liability

We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties. When using the UpHODL app you may engage with various third-party sites. These sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these sites and services directly. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy, policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. 

Minimum Age

The UpHODL app is not intended to be used by anyone under the age of eighteen (18) or the age majority in your jurisdiction. 

Updates to Our Policy

This version was last updated on the date indicated above and historic versions are archived and can be obtained by contacting us. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we deem necessary or appropriate at our sole discretion. If there are any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by means of a notice on the UpHODL Website, or as otherwise required by applicable law. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to remain informed on how we are using and protecting your information and to stay abreast of any policy changes. Any changes to this Privacy Policy are effective immediately after being posted or otherwise detailed by us.
